Daniel and Mario met at the University of Cambridge during their PhDs. Recognising that modern security technologies are underutilized due to their complexity, they founded Light Squares in September 2025 to bring their vision to life.
As an independent, founder-owned company, we focus on building honest, effective tools that protect against modern threats—making next-generation security accessible.

Finishing his PhD in the area of software supply chain security, with a passion for building practical solutions to hard security problems.
